On January 15, 2022, per Mayor Muriel Bowser's Order 2021-148, the District of Columbia will adopt a citywide vaccination entry requirement that requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter indoor facilities (e.g., restaurants, nightclubs, taverns, coffee shops, food halls, live entertainment and sporting venues, movie theaters, bowling alleys, gyms, fitness studios, hotels, and conferences) within the city.
